I know there is a trick for crankshaft pully bolts...might work here....get your wrench on the sprocket bolt, and let the handle of the wrench rest on the inner fender or something else SOLID. then use the starter to bump the motor, and it will break the bolts loose.... I have no idea though...you tell me.

Those cam sprockets can be very stubborn.

Best trick I found is take a socket, 10mm I believe, and with and extension "grab" onto one of the bolts behind the sprocket located in the backer plates. Using the head of this bolt as an anchor, and the extension leveraging against one of the pulley sprocket arms, have helper find the longest breaker bar known to man and try and loosen the cam bolt.

Hold the extension firm against the backer plate and the cam bolt will give.

Also, try some Deep Creep of other favorite rust breaker at the bolt. Might free things up.

Search for my post about "HG replacement.....slooooow going" I had the same ailment as you, i needed grade 5 7/16" carriage bolts drilled into 1.5" tube steel that was 36" long...took about 180ftlbs or so to break em loose..
