brake problem, need help

I have a 95 toyota truck that set for about a year with a blown motor, I recently put a new motor in and when I went to drive it I found it had a hole in one of the brake lines and the resevoir went dry, I fixed the line, bled the system and then I only had rear brakes, fronts were not working, the donor truck I had gotten my motor from had new cailper's on it so I switched them out and installed new pads, I once again bled the system, still, no front brakes, the rears lock up but I have no front brakes, where all could my problem be?

You "fixed" the line or "replaced" the line? I would have just replaced it, seeing as they're not that expensive. One thing that I could think of would be a clogged line somewhere in the system, probably the line that supplies fluid to the front calipers

The proprtioning valve next to the master cylinder. replace or remove and clean out, flush out the fluid in the front lines from that point to the calipers. A vehicle that sits for a long time developes these types of problems. No big deal.

sounds like your BMC (brake master cyl.) is bad, I would try and bleed it first and then rebleed the rest of the system in the correct order DR,PR,PF,DF,LSPV. If that doesn't work then replace the BMC and rebleed everything.

Did the front brakes work before you found the hole in the line?

the truck was running fine, everything worked til I blew it up in the woods one night, the truck then set for awhile, the brakes worked good at that point. I rebled the master cylinder, then the rest of the system and still nothing, I then went and bought a new BMC, now I have the same problems, but maybe a little worse, I had one guy tell me it might be air locked but I haven't had a chance to try and bleed it anymore.

I'm telling you, the brake lines go from the master cylinder into a small proportionaing valve, then split off to the front and to the rear brakes. Start there. There is also a lod proportioning valve over the rear axle that takes the amount of suspension load into account, thus increasing or decreasing brake pressure to the rear brakes. But I really doubt that to be of any concern unless you have lifted the rear.
