Brake Lights

I'm new to this sight and also owning a Toyota. I bought a 1992 Toyota Tacoma Sr5 3.0 V6 4WD automatic. Original motor. Truck has 133,000 miles. My concern is my break lights don't work. Fuse is fine. Headlights also don't work on bright. Would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks

Check the brake light switch, it's on the brake pedal linkage & has two wires going into it. High beams could be the headlamp switch or relay.

You could start by finding a schematic of your truck and posting it so others can help. I have a first-gen 4Runner, but can if I'm looking at schematic for 1992 truck.

Then, Got multi-meter?

How do you know that fuse is fine?

Headlights also don't work on bright. Would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks
Both High Beams do not work?
Does flash work? If it does, it's most likely the high beam contacts on your dimer-combo switch (stalk).
Again, Got multi-meter?

The Tacoma first came out as a 95.5 model year and never with the 3.0 V6 as the original engine.

So....not likely you have a 92 Tacoma as least here in the USA.
