All joking aside you might think about installing some sort of under-the-hood light that either comes on when the hood is opened or that you can turn on with a switch. I've wanted to do one for months just in case you need to "see" things under there at night. In your case it'd make that motor light up like the Holy Grail!!

Something like this is what I have in mind.

Some lift struts would be REALLY slick. I've wanted to fab something up for a while, my '06 4Runner has them and it's pretty pimp.

The stuff lays on pretty good! I scrubbed the entire thing down with a red scotchbright pad, gave it a coat of brake cleaner to get any dust or residue off, loosely bolted it to my engine stand, and gave it about 5 light coats it should hold better than that crap Pacesetter puts on them

that stuff is awsome, sprayed 3 coats on my miniheader when I did the swap almost 8months ago and it still looks brand new.

No peeling or anything

every thing else is looking great too. keep up the great work.......

well I'm starting to hit a few of the items that I'll have to face the fact that their not going to come AS CLEAN as I want them... but they'll do...

but on the flip-side, the lower intake manifold came pretty clean

I've got a few more spot to tape up on it (I ran out of day-light today, and the meskeeters were start'n to get me ), and I'll be hit'n it with some primer and Chrystler Red engine paint

actually, I didn't think it was that bad

I wish I could get just the tube and rubber joints though; I don't need that little K&N filter thingamajiggy, I'm doing away with the air injection

I might give them a call and see if we can't work out a deal
