lmao, well she loves here Garmin GPS

we gave it to her early since she's probably heading back home up north tomorrow, and I loaded it with a custom vehicle... a Jeep... cause believe it of not, she drive's a freek'n Wrangler... and I rode in it today, and I HATE it... EVERYTHING'S FREEK'N PLASTIC; IT'S REDICULOUS!!!

and I couldn't even convice her to let us pull the top off and take the doors off... even if we were just riding right down the road to the store, lol. the most off-road this thing see's is her dirt drive-way back home... I'll get her out on a trail one of these days... when my truck has a motor in it so I can be the official Jeep rescue vehicle... again...

you ought to let your mom help with the teardown. that would be the coolest mother's day gift ever.

a plug on the block?

if you're talking about the radiator, I don't have the original radiator, so it might be a little different...

22res may be different, but the 3vz radiator doesnt have a drain bolt persay... its got a petcock which is a threaded piece of plastic that has a hole in the one part of it... when the hole is exposed the fluid drains out...

I want to swap out the coolant drain plug on the block with a fan switch from another car.

The thread pitch to verify the thread pitch before I pulled the plug on the motor.

Nice job super...my engine was worse than yours, and it had half the miles when I rebuilt it! I also had a burnt exhaust valve and burnt a quart of oil every three days (before 37s), and then 1 a day (with 37s!). Sand in the block and everything, bearings worn down to brass!! It was bad, and now it feels like its a racecar compared to the bad motor!

I had a guy do my engine, I just didnt have the room to do it at my house! And he painted the block black, it looks really good with the silver head and valve cover! I wish I could have painted my engine bay black too, because now I will have to keep the truck silver!!

Good job though, I think I am going to try and tackle my next 22r build myself, and save some money! I know a guy with a 85 4runner with an immaculate interior and exterior, with a bad tranny and engine!! I think he wants $1k!

Hey bleeder, what exhaust are you running again(I'm that lazy to look it up) size wise? Is it 2.25" or 2.5"?

the header's 1.5" primaries to a 2.5" collector, and the cat back kit reduces to 2" to the muffler, and then 2.25 after the muffler, ending with a 3" stainless steel tip

BTW guys, no work done over the weekend it's going to take forever at this rate

But I got a hold of a pressure washer this afternoon, so tomorrow I'll probably blast off the frame rails in the engine bay, and drag the block outta the garage and give it a quick spray down too
