I-25 south, to 70 east, take the Colorado exit south and then turn right at the next light by the gas station, go around the block and one will see Jackson ST, Jim's it at the end of Jackson on the right.

Got an AC there last summer and a door lock and handle last weeks while in town:clap

Love this yard. There may be others, but this is the only one I use.

quote My junkyard mods to my 87 4Runner:

63" Rear Chevy springs from a 2001 Chevy 1500 4wd 2 leaf + OL
Late-style steering box (95 4Runner, quicker ratio)
'85 4Runner brown/tan interior w/ incolmeter (sp?)
V6 Calipers
W56 and all 5spd swap stuff from an 85 4Runner
88 F-250 Front shocks for the rear (stiff, but were longer than what was on there to flex the 63s more...2 bucks a shock man)
V6 4.56 diffs
Found a rear Husky liner floor mat for the rear ($2 !!)

I'll probably think of more and add to the list...

So any ingenious junkyard warriors out there trying parts on for size?[/quote]

late style steering box... so past 95.5 right?

yeah, i cant find any parts for a hilux surf over here in japan; they say when they hit the junk yards, they strip em and send all of the parts to the states. the only thing i was able to find was a used intake hose. thank god cuz i really needed it.

Here's a tip for you guys hunting wheels/tires: let all the air out of the tire. When you go to pay for it, tell them they're bad tires since they're flat. That way they won't charge you for tires.

Works here at the local yard anyway.

It is really clean, the 5mge that it came from looked like it had lots of dealer replaced parts. It wasn't even the part I went looking for but it caught my eye as I walked by.
