Thank you for looking out. I was able to find the right bumper all though I had to drive 2.5 hours to get it.
So I'm stuck with 2 smittybilt bumpers and a tubed roll bar which are for sale.
Bumpers were off a 4runner and I think the other was off a truck. looks as if it was modified to fit the truck

In addition my hazard switch is busted. From the pic what do I need to fix this? Do I need the whole unit or find another switch and glue it on?
*** I went to the junk yard for the first time in my life and picked one off a 87 reg cab. I hope it fits. But damn, was that the best experience I had. People are QUICK to take these things apart!

Hey YoungFeller. Thanks for the info back in my tire thread and for checking out my progress.
If there is a way to get me to Mr. Fox or visa versa and the rest of the BTTF crew I'm all ears. I'd have them autograph my truck.
There are not too many "movie conventions" in my neck of the woods (San Francisco). The closest thing I've seen was Claudia Wells (Jennifer) at the San Diego Comic-con back in July.
the truck wasn't close to done and that's a 10 hour drive.

I was told EVERYTHING should be done, out the door Tuesday/Wednesday and I can finally put an end to all of this mayhem!
Some goodies came in and this should be the last of ordering anything else.

Everyone.
I'd like to thank you all for your support, your information and your patience during this crazy ride. Deadline after deadline being missed. Wrong part after wrong part. Frustration on both ends flaring up. I can finally say it is done.
The shop did an amazing job. The tech, Steve, took good care of me. He really knew his stuff and he made me feel confident on their quality of work. This was the reason why I chose that shop. It was sad that he left, but he did come back. My buddy unfortunately left the company and I wished he was there to see this.
Since the truck was in their hands, again, some changes were made. He repainted my mirrors a mat black as well as the grille to give it some contrast. A custom delete plate was created to plug the cargo light. All the imperfections in the paint were corrected and all that damn over-spray was removed and painted mat black around the corner lights to match the grille.
The wiring has to be done and the front mounts (i'd have to figure that out) needs to be installed, but I am officially saying it is done.
This has been one hell of an adventure. Not only did I get my truck today but I also received a phone call with a job offer. I am extremely happy and emotional right now. With all the BS, EVERYTHING just landed on my lap. I am like, WOW! New truck. New job! New beginnings!
Tomorrow morning I'll be completing my SMOG and then it's off to work to put in my notice. 1 weeks notice is good enough. This gives me an extra week to just relax and prepare myself for my new job. During that free time I'll take Jennifer to some awesome spots for photos. This time i'll be using my good camera (Cannon Rebel T2i) and some photo editing in Adobe to provide some good quality stuff. Not this camera phone crap.
I'd hate to leave you guys high and dry with no pics, so these are the only 2 I am posting. The rest will be coming in next week and possibly in a new thread.

Ditto what Philbert said, and wow, it's looks fantastic, BTTF is one of my favourite movies, and your truck is pretty much the spitting image. You will get lots of looks/offers/ etc, both because it's an awesome Toyota, and because it looks like the bttf truck...enjoy!

Thanks a lot guys! It was a bitter sweet day. My boss is pissed and disappointed for "blasting" the office of my departure. Whatever.
The timing was adjusted AGAIN and now (crosses fingers) the smog nazis will approve. I would of never thought "what is the timing on a 1987 toyota truck" would of been the most difficult thing to search on a cell phone. We tried other combinations but ended with some forum and wrong information.
Today after failing smog we learned that the timing is 5 degrees and 750 idle speed. This could of easily been avoided if I looked at the FSM. Tomorrow is another try.

Plenty of aftermarket options without welding for the lights but if you got the bumper painted bummer as the welds will fry the paint for the light tabs, Anyhoo looking good man, gonna be fun driving it around

So when I went to work yesterday, the boss and I sat and had a chat. They had my paycheck ready and we parted ways. All on good terms. So I have more time on the more time I have.
I took my free time to the junk yard today. 3 to be exact. Remember the hazard switch?
I began my day with the steering cluster switch. I was about to swap the two. The one I pulled one of an 87 few weeks ago was just a regular 87 PU. There are some differences (as usual). It was too short and there were some differences between the two "shells" as well. I had to really inspect my original and this one. BUST!
So I took my tools to the junk yard and picked up some good condition sun visors, climate control face plate, ash tray (which I ended up breaking) but no steering control switch.
At the LAST yard and they only had 3 toyota pickups which was more then than the last two. I decided to do a sweep. The last row before I head out the door I come across an 88 4 runner. I said, "what the hell, let me check this out".
They were similar in length. Similar clips. Blue connector. Noticeable difference that on the blue plug it said "A7" and I think mine said "A6" on it. This also had cruse control on the switch but all I needed was that "shell" with the hazard switch.
Guess what? It all worked out!
This is my old shell and the stripped unit from the 88.

I now have a fully functional hazard switch.

As for the brackets from KC. I ended up drilling new holes. They fit. Barely. The ends rests below the grill and I wasn't going to waste time cutting that extra off.
