I'm just curious, Do you just pour it in with the existing fluid or do you have to drain some out?

just the existing because the fluid level looked like it could take a little more. if you do it i would recommend making sure the fluid level is at the right level because tranny's don't like too much or too little fluid. i drove it around for about 30 miles since then and it's still slipping and it's getting worse. I took it in today to a well know toyota shop and hopefully the diagnosis won't be too bad.

These auto tranny's are pretty stout. I wouldn't be concerned about a little bit of hard shifting. I'm just gonna drive mine until it wwon't move any longer, then I'll fix it. Mines a 95 4Runner A340h 3.0 162k

Tdubbs, how many miles does you tranny have on it and what do you know about the service history?

This might be a highjack. but Would love to see a concensus of tranny flush customers. I did the borg warner in my ole Volvo at about 230k and it died soon after. Scared to do it on my 280k truck.
