Question ARB style front bumpers for 85-88 pickups?

Does anyone know of anyone building plate style front bumpers like the ARB or Warn style that would fit my 88? I just ordered a sweet rear and am thinking about a front... I emailed Kennesaw Mountian to see how much theirs run but Ive not read good things about their customer service! Ive found TONS of shops building tube bumpers but really no plate style... Anyone?

I also wondered if they built plate ones for the first gens (second gen trucks) or do we have to fab them up ourselves? And do the bumpers from the second gen 4runners and 3rd gen pickups fit the first gen runners and 2nd gen trucks? They have the same front end.

-PS what rear bumper did you get?

Here is a link to the bumper thread that I started a few days ago, $290 shipped...

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...pickup-222780/

its built buy a fellow member, I had him remove the hitch from the center and am going to use LED license plate bolt / lights, I like the look of the plate style bumpers over tube but not many people make them, Kennesaw Mountain has one but Im not sure about pricing and options just yet, Ill follow up when I hear back from them. http://www.kenmtn.com/html/wincher.asp Id love an ARB but Im not dropping a grand on a bumper, if the price was half that Id be all over one!!

These prices are very good,

Ive not read good things about their customer service but if the bumper fits and looks OK Im not sure what the issues would be, its a bumper!

I love the way Kennesaw Mountain bumpers look, particularly their rear with the swing-out tire carrier. However, their customer service is more than just "not good". It's a downright nightmare to get them to actually build and send you your bumper. One YT member (I believe it was Toyminator, IIRC), actually had to contact the local police dept. to get KM to send him his bumper. Not worth the trouble IMO.

Hmmm...ARB still lists a bumper for your truck;

I ordered the one I had on my '05 from TRDparts4U

edit: nevermind, just saw your post about the price...

Yeah, they are high, I could buy a Warn bunper with a winch for the price of the ARB, dont get me wrong, its a sweeeet bumper, but its a bumper not a new turbo for my MX5

Bumping a thread because I also like the WARN and ARB. Im pretty set on the WARN for the front of my 88, not sure on the rear though... the cost for the warn rear is almost the same as the front.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
