Anyone running 17x9's rims

I'm thinking about getting some 17x9' rims on 33's for my 89 4runner , kinda tired of the small 15 inch rim opening , if your running this size please post a picture thanks.

If you like the look of large rims, get whatever makes you happy, but be aware that, for serious rough country wheeling, more rubber and less metal is the way to go. Go look at an earth mover sometime.

This is why there are so few examples. Folks who would buy a 1st gen 4runner generally wouldn't be your "large wheel" crowd. Although the tire choices and prices for 17s is more favorable.

Haha lol , thanks for the pics , maybe 16's would be better since I do plan on going on some trails but 17 tires cost a little less too.

Tires for 17s cost less? First time I've heard of that. You must get some crazy deals on tires because everyone else sees a price increase with the wheel size increase.

X2. I've got 16x8's with 33's on my 4runner and I think it looks good. Just how you want it to look I guess.
