another blown head gasket!

Damn. I am soooo mad that my 95 4runner just blew another head gasket after just putting it together. I didnt even have 5 miles on the new gasket set. I had the heads resurface, torque everything to spec but didnt check the block. well here is a short video, please let me know what you think. should I rebuilt the engine or just replaces it?

You know what is likely to happen if you just replace it don't you? It's probably going to blow again. Check the block next time, and do what is necessary to repair.

yeah, i am thinking of getting another engine instead of fixing it or selling it as is. the guy before me, put some gasket sealer on the block so when I got it all together, I bought two cans of radiator flush liquoir hoping it would clean the block but I guest it didnt.

yeah I know, I am wondering how to clean all the hg sealer the previous owner put on the engine. I notice the firewall's horse dont have any water in them so I am thinking the block is plug somewhere inside. anyone have a short block for sale or free. I am located in norther california.

That HG sealer is crap. It's basically the same stuff they used to sieze up cars in the clunkers program - except a lower, safer concentration. But if it builds up too much in one area - you've got problems...
250 doesn't sound bad at all. Go take a look at it first.

Exhaust leak? Recheck the torque on the exhaust manifolds, hopefully that will take care of it.

If you still have a hard time locating it, you can wait until it's completely cooled down. I'm talking overnight, not even one bit warmed up. Spray down the exhaust manifold with some soapy water. Spray all the areas that could leak. Then start the vehicle and immediately look where the bubbles are coming from, if any. You only have about 10 seconds or less before the exhaust will start to heat up and evaporate the water.

The knocking noise I heard sound like it is coming from the top part of the engine. But it is too loud to be a fuel injector. I retorque the camshaft and still there...I am about to take the engine apart and do a rebuilt on it but I heard the 3vze engine is powerless....that is another issue I have. The engine don't have a lot of power..I have a 93 miata with a 1.3 l and have more power that the 4runner....can anyone tell me if you can tell a different on a rebuilt 3vze engine?

I dont like how 4, 6, looks with stuff around but from 2 looks cleaner....can someone tell me what is the stuff on the spark plugs
