Looks like carbon deposits from burning oil to me.

When you checked the compression, did you have the throttle wide open? 120 is low, but at least they are all even.

120 PSI. Maybe check your timing is right. When mine was off. It was 120, 100, 120 on the driver side.

If it is off, I would think any more than one tooth would cause some big problems.

But yeah, if your cam timing is not spot on, your compression will suffer.

Ok, I have a few people telling to do the swap but it is too expensive for me right now. However, if I swap the engine, do I have to swap the transmission too.

The swaps are pricey, although I'm in the middle of rebuilding my 3VZE and I just hit $3k... I ordered a Super Stock rebuild from Oregon Engines, I'm doing a new exhaust and replacing numerous sensors, connectors, vac lines - etc. I should have just gone ahead with the swap... but a good 3.4 is difficult to find.
I don't think you have to change the transmission - at least thats the case for my automatic. There are several write-ups on swaps here. Take a look and see what you can find.

Jajaja bad porno...sorry matt16 I used my phone to made the clip.

Hey 9four4runner, after you did your rebuilt, did you notice a big different of power from the engine....

Hey loco, $3,000 is a lot. I bought this runner for $1000 and only have spend like $450 on it...right now I am just driving it to and from work..not even a mile from where I live...I am going to try to adjust the valves and the timing belt....however, I have been looking for the shims online and can't find them...
