Since the window works with the key without problem, it may not be the $350 controller located behind the left tail light.

Pull the switch from the console and clean it up with some electrical contact cleaner. That is a cheap fix to try.

Good luck,

X2. I had an issue where my switch in the console quit making the window roll down and would only roll it up to about an inch from being closed. Pulled it out and sprayed WD-40 into it until all the spilled Coke, coffee, cig ashes (not from me) and such came out. I made sure the contacts in the plug were clean and hooked it back up. Works like new

i got rid of all the safety switches for the rear window and put in my own toggle switch. and have not had a single problem in 3 years.

the top safety switch and the safety switch for the tailgate closed.

sure i can roll my dinow up with the tailgate down or the top off.. but it works EVERY time.

I just hard wired mine with a 3 way toggle, Works great just don't leave the switch on, going to get a better switch eventually. Oh, and definitely don't roll the window up when the tail gate is down, mine almost fell out.
