I don't see the price for the PU ?
We didn't get as many regular cabs here in Quebec, Canada it seems.
The majority are Extra-Cabs in both 2nd and 3rd generation.
Wonder why that is ?
We did get some 2 door 2nd generation 4Runner up here though.
There's an '88 regular cab out in Gaspé for 1800 with recent paint
and timing guides done. Linked a buddy on it. Price seems very fair,
just soo far away..

3rd gens have more power (if you get the 3.4V6), so an auto works fairly well. If you plan to go off-road, look for one with the e-locker in the rear. Otherwise, pretty much the same stuff as the 2nd gens.

I'm sorry, I thought you were talking about a 3rd gen 4runner (1996-2001), not a 3rd gen pickup. Forget everything I wrote in my last post.

$975 seems fairly low if it runs and doesn't have major rust or damage. I'd want to know why the owner is letting it go that cheap.

It has a bad injector, broken brake line and he said he's getting divorced
