AC evaporator 87 Toy

AC evaporator 87 Toy
One of our RV forum members has an 87, could be 86? Toyota cab and chassis with an RV on it. This is in the Toyota cab which is the same as a Toyota pickup.
He has a AC evaporator which does not seem to match up with Toyota replacement parts.
Does anyone have any insight into this or know where a replacement could be found??
An Army guy on a tight budget so any input would be appreciated.

Back in those days The AC was a dealer added option !
His might have been installed when the camper was added.
Have several all ready been ordered that did not fit??
Best bet is to match the size of the Evap Coil
I am guessing any paper work with the camper is long gone .
If the Evap coil has been open to the air for any time this is going to get expensive !!

I am guessing the RV manufacturer would have added this, the dealer should have used Toyota parts.
30 year old RV so paper work is long gone.
Thanks for the response.

The OEM evaporator core looks like this:
I have no idea where to get a replacement for that evaporator.
Do you know if any of the other Air Conditioning components are OEM or is the whole system aftermarket?
What does the evaporator box (cooler unit) look like under the dash?

There seem to be 3 variations from Toyota, One ended Jan 86. I searched as much as I could and could find nothing that looks the same.
This is the evaporator box, he says it says Acme on it. The company that Wile E Coyote uses.
With Acme on it I would bet money it is some aftermarket add on. However the Compressor was a Toyota part. The evap box does not look like the 1st AC variation and I cannot find a 2nd variation, but is definately not what is used in the 89 and up. Which are the ones I know. I suspect he will have to bite the bullet and have this one repaired??

A coil is a coil the important parts are the surface area and how the plumbing connects .
Then it is a toss up cost wise if this coil can be repaired the cost of a new one modified to work.
Some shops will fabricate things like this others can`t be bothered .
Don`t laugh Acme was a company into HAVC Parts back in the seventies and eighties I recall buying off them .
