Fuel pump bypas
New to the site and have read many posts over time.
I have a 88 4 runnner with a 3.0.
got it recently cheap as a non runner.
something electrical with a remote starter supposedly?
I have all that out now and try to start it no fuel. I have power to the wire going into the tank when key is in start position which I understand as correct. Bought a new fuel pump but cannot get the unit out of the fuel tank the Phillips screws are rusty and want to strip. Short of buying a new fuel tank and fuel sending unit is there an easy way to hook up external fuel and see if this thjng runs. Mainly my question is fuel pressure being sufficient to run the motor. May do a v8 conversion if it does not run not sure the stock pump will run a mild v8
