AC compressor pulley

I have a 87 4runner with a 22 re and today i had to remove the belt around the ac compressor because it had frozen up and i need to get home. The only other things it goes around are the tensioner and the main pulley. My AC is and has been broken for quite a while and i have no plan to fix it due to lack of funds. My question is do i need to fix this or will it be ok if i just dont run a belt there.
Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

well I know on my 91 with AC that the AC belt routing is separate from any other accessories and only goes around the crank, AC compressor, and a tentioner pulley

that being said, yeah just leave the belt off and you're good to go!
