ac clutch not engaging

need your help. just replaced my blower resistor. all fan speeds works great. ac button light is on but compressor does not engage. There is pressure in ac system. There is only 1 wire that feeds to my compressor, i check it for voltage and nothing. Any ideas? thanks.

If one of the pressure switches is not working correct

If your manifold gauges read in the proper range

The AC amplifier will not send system voltage to the clutch

It might help knowing just what year and model

I would pull out the multimeter and check the voltage to the amplifier at pins 3 and 8. These are the pressure switch input pins. If you are not getting voltage there, I would check the pressure switch or verify that you indeed have pressure with gauges.

This link shows where the connector pins are and the voltage values.

I was gonna say, try checking farther up on that wire you are talking about. Mine was broken on the inside and worked after resectioning it. It sits in a pretty rough spot, perhaps you are getting voltage farther up in the harness and it's a simple broken wire
