95 pickup parking brake cable replacement?

My parking brake cable broke clean near the handle and I need to replace it. Does anyone have any input on how to go about doing it (best way to get to the connection point, where to get the best deal on a new cable, ect...) anything helps!

Disconnect it at the intermediate lever to get some slack.

Remove the two nuts that hold the pulley assembly from the engine compartment . there is a pin with a cotter pin that holds the pulley I always have extra because I tend to drop things.

then find the slot in the handle to pop the cable out been several years so I forget just what is needed to find the slot.

put it back in starting at the handle .

I go with the my Toyota Dealer first if they can`t get one Then I try all my local suppliers next

The part number you want depends on your bed length.
