94 t100 steering question
So I have been looking in the FSM and it has a different steering setup than what is actually on my truck. Check out these pics and tell me if you think this is aftermarket or if the steering setup changed from 93, the year of the FSM im looking at, to 94, the year of my truck. The red arrow points to a ball joint that is hidden by a dust cover. Thanks in advance.

I was looking at both, 2 and 4, and they look pretty much the same in the FSM at least. It definitely doesnt look like rack and pinion. From the sticky in this forum.
Check out the 93 steering .pdf and you will see it is not rack and pinion there are clearly inner and outer rod ends and no rack and pinion. Is this a mistake in the FSM maybe?
I have a little shimmy at 60 miles per hour Ive heard this is the tie rods. Is that right? I also live in Tampa, FL home of the most pot holes per mile of road in the U.S.
I jacked it up and the wheels will move independently just a little. I tried to adjust the rod ends but they are way too tight, I cant move the nut at all.
Anything else need replacing while im under there? Wheel bearings?
