94 rear e-lockers

hey i have a 94 runner and i was wondering if anyone was running an e-locker in there rear. And if they were what there running and where they got it from. Thanks guys.

I've got one in very nice condition. I believe it came out of a 2003 Taco.....comes with a partial harness also. pic tonight. ZUK

Very common mod, requires a third member from an e-locked 96+ 4runner and 95.5+ tacoma. Requires regearing to match your current gears(usually) and modification of the axle housing.

Only one kind of elocker for our trucks - Toyota. Requires modification to your axle housing:

Or you can go with ARB and install like normal

Oh man thats lame sounds like a lot of work. Think your average do it yourselfer could do it? Or how much you think it would run you if you went to your local dealership?

Dealership would probibly charge over 1200 bucks for the elocker. Pull one out of a wrecked truck or 4runner.

Yes, if you have the proper tools and go slow, you can do it. Elockers are much nicer then air lockers If the electronics were to fail at anytime you can still manually lock and unlock the diff by hand.

No worries man. I'm not in a rush, just trying to get my garage cleaned up and I know someone could really use these. Locked front and rear for less than $1000. Linky.

Here's the stuff I'm willing to part with.....
E-Locker with the 2 foot harness
console switch
a genuine toyota cut-out off the housing pattern with the 2 long studs intact.
