the LONG ALLEN HEAD BOLT that goes through the intake to just under the thermostat housing

the coolant hose that goes from the driver's side of the timing cover to the block

crush washers for my ?COLD START INJECTOR?

and FIPG

These, along with all my belts are things I want to order from a TOYOTA dealer.

TOYODIY used to have pictures that you could see each part and what part # they were.

spent a good portion of the day on the computer. And not on YOTATECH...how about that?

Found my local TOYOTA dealer has a parts site and was able to find just about everything that's left to find...3 belts and that hose at the side of the timing cover...I did call there to ask about FIPG...that's impossible to find (ebay 82gram=3oz for $16.25 to my door) versus $15.89 at the dealer....I'm thinking 2 tubes.

I was going to ask about crush washers BUUUUUUUUT....when I asked the lady in PARTS if they had Black FIPG and she asked me "for what year vehicle?"...I knew I shouldn't ask anything more....LOL!

 

Also...a newb-type question....I know there are basically 2 types of treatments / coatings for the threads...anti-seize and lock-tite..ish stuff.

what do I use?

 

locktite on the crank bolt, anti-sieze on everything else. oil sae 30 should do on head bolts. don't forget to pickup either Vaseline or some sta-lube blue marine bearing grease (that's what I used and what todd reccomended to me) for the oil pump in order to prime it better. Get enough oil/filters to do 2 oil changes one for the first start, then change oil/filter right after running about 20 minutes. I would almost treat this as a full bottom end rebuild as far as priming that pump as the motor has been sitting for quite some time, those bearings are probably kinda dry. Valvoline conventional is what Todd recommended I use on my rebuild since it has a higher zinc content that any other DINO oil. I would also lube up the cam with the bearing grease I had mentioned. I don't wanna look back but did you say you picked up a new cam from ENGNBLDR? if so definitely do the bearing grease and two oil change method. Gonna have to break in that cam.

 

Forgot about priming the oil pump, good call... 2x on the anti-seize.

don't use the engine assembly lube, most are moly based you don't want that. The sta-lube is the right one, however not sure if 3oz will be enough to lube up your stock cam a little and do the oil pump. The only place in stores around here I found the sta-lube grease is A&A. I think it was like $6 for a 14oz container. And then Lock-tite red. Also $6 6ml tube

I was always told that the Permatex lube was good stuff...I donno know... Just cuz I can take it apart does not mean I know how it goes together.
