this is one of the plugs that i did not remember plugging back in and i could not see it from above.....so i peeked through the side and there it was. i remembered ROGERMAN also missing this and i can understand why. it is hidden pretty well.

had to plug and unplug a few times to be sure i had it right because i was doing it blindly and by feel.

so then i cleaned up the mating surfaces for the lower intake.....scraper and the acetone.

i think i'm ready to bolt this on........objections??

PROBLEM

well kinda.

when i put the EGR valve back on like i was supposed to, (page EM30 of the FSM for you playing along at home)....it said to put it on....not wait until the intake gasket was on. the gasket i have is meant to be put on BEFORE the EGR.......no biggie to me, i did use RTV there so i am just going to trim that part off and away.

From: Bryan Tx,
FWIW, I would pull the EGR back off & put it on with the intake gasket. The exhaust gases circulating thru the EGR are very hot & I am not sure that the RTV will hold up very long. Just use the gasket dry. Also take my advise as you will but not as the last word. I put my intake & EGR on with a dry gasket & have no problem so far.
