So I noticed a little design flaw... :/

The swing out portion has been swinging out while i've been driving... well I noticed that it doesn't pull out, but instead bounces out. and then swings. So i checked the latch, i noticed it was hitting some excess metal in the hole, so i drilled it out. now the latch goes in atleast an inch or so. But that wasn't good enough for me because if i can still lift the bumper and have it pull out, a simple wheeling trip would be a pain in the ass... So i then looked at this piece.

It originally had a metal lip, but it was WAY off. I had to lift the carrier to get it in the hole for the latch, and it wouldn't catch the bumper and stop it from going up. So for now, i ground it off, Made a piece of steel at work that is the same thickness/width and now just need to weld it.

so for now... this is my solution

And it works!

Also, here's a better picture of my ass sag with the rig slightly loaded for camping.

Nice looking bumper Mak. Really adds a nice finishing touch to the back end. Good work. Now all you have to do is get a roof basket.

thanks man. I still have to rewire my reverse lights and get a trasharoo bag

But the roof rack will be coming soon. But, like i mentioned the rear lift has to come first. I have like 2-3" of uptravel, 4" at the most before I rub. haha
