One more thing, you might want to reconsider mounting your fuel tank out side the cab. It will make it easier to fill and most importantly, Vent the fumes created when sloshing around, not to mention, putting added weight over the rear axle.......adios chelu'.............

LOL Che'lu! Are you here on Guam? or Stateside? Anyway, thanks for the pointers! The fuel cell mount is capped, no vents or fumes will come in(I made sure of that) but for putting the gas in, I will be mounting a hose to the rear side.

I hope that the metal doesn't distort, but will consider welding a bracket to the exo when it is done(thanks)

Body work will be done soon so that no rust will come of it. This is my first time welding so I tried to make whatever I did "work" for me. I did learn a lot from this experience so if I ever do something again I'm hoping that my welding would be better. I did use some silicone to seal the gap I had. Been using silicone and it works like a charm, soft, flexible easy to repair, durable and it's cheap. Thanks again for your input! Esta.

nice job on the chopped

the angle of your tire when it popped the bead was deceptively looking like the D/S steering broke

Dude, wheeling on Guam is bad ass! I miss it. Your rig is sick too. You sure learned to weld quickly. Hold your breath welding that galv stuff bro.

Here's my XJ up on Tank Farm back in 2001.

Thanks for the comment mang. Funny thing is I haven't really got the chance to wheel since 2001. My runner has been down since.... So we're kind of in the same boat. The trails have changed much since. And 38s are like the "new" 33s hahaha. Anyways, if you ever come back check me out. I will try and post some pics . Shoots

Started working on my 3.4 SWAP this past Sunday!!

I won't be posting a build thread because I think everyone who did already covered all that needs to be covered. I will however let you guys know if I run into trouble or found other ways of doing it and post in the 3.4 swap section.

Things that will be done in the swap are simple:
-motor swap
-after market intake
-Doug thorely headers (exhaust will be going down the passenger side)

Wish me luck
