90' 4Runner chop

Hey all, just thought I'd share my project with you guys.. I got a lot of ideas and info from everyone that has done it here so here it is...

everything was already stripped in the rear when I did the wheel wells, saved about an hour



removed all the wires..

removed the fuel cell and just ordered another.... i really didnt like this one. It shouldve been upright instead of flat :S



removed the tire rack(gona miss that thing) and tail gate, thing weighs a ton!

i got a lot of info from 4rnnr33, thanks for your thread!! ive been waiting to do this for over a year. The rear had some rust.



mounted the rear to get some visuals....

pushed it out today to get a better view...







12" more inches to go!!! I'm going really slow when I move it. 'Dont want to cut too much off.

WHAT THE HELL SIZE TIRE DO YOU WHEEL WITH!?!?!? thats some MAJOR fender trimming


i kinda like it though..if it had like some fricken 44's on it....

I like the creativity but its not for me. Good luck on the fabrication though a bobbed 2 door 4runner is a rare truck.

Right now some 37s but will be getting another set 39s or 42s

Love the 2 door 2nd gens, wish I coulda found one when I got mine. Suggestion though from one of my never goeing to happen ideas with my extra Pathfinder... cut whats left of the roof off where it overhangs where the back windows used to be and have a cover made with a window built in? One that would go with the lines of the chop... just a suggestion and kudos for cuttign somethign people are gonna cry about since it's not the everyday 4 door.

Aww damn...you beat me to it, i have never seen a chopped and bobbed 2 door.
My plan for my 2door is to chop and bob it once it gets some bad trail damage. I was hoping to be the first to do it
Lookin good, cant wait to see how it turns out.

2 doors are sooooooooo RARE!!! sad to see ya do it, but im hopin it turns out good lookin and functional... for your sake...
