88 toyota p/u lift hight problem with superlift 4" and downey bars

I installed a superlift 4" suspention lift on my 88 toyota 4x4 pickup. I used 4inch springs instead of blocks. I used downy 26mm torsion bars up front. Problem I am having is there is a rake from front to back. Back end is higher than the front. Now I adjusted the torsion bars so there is about an inch of thread showing fromt he tall nut on both sides. This makes the upper control arms rest on the low proile rubbe snubber that is included with the bars. The instruxtions say there should be a quarter inch between control arm and snubber.

So is it normal for there to be a slant or rake when doing this lift or shoud the truck be level?

What has your experience been with downy bars in this application. Am I correct with the 1/4 inch measurement? ( I called downey about this. they were not sure.

What is the measurement from your 15 inch wheel to the botton of the front and rear fender when the truck is on the ground.

Will the new bars and springs settle the first couple of days it is on the ground?

Any info you can provide would be great so that I can troubleshoot this.

How much of height difference is there front and back? And cranking torsion bars will only get you so much lift. Definitely not 4" to match the back. You could try ball joint spacers, which might help. Anyone else?

not sure what your pre and post measurements were, bu the rear leafs will settle a little over time. what's the height difference?

I did a full 4 nch suspention lift so the front was lifted as well by 4 inches. I'd say it's out by an inch or so. Tortion bars a cranked just so the uppersarms are touching the runnr snubber.

Why did you put the bigger t-bars on ??
You're going to have one of a hell've stiff ride, at least in the front, that is unless you have several hundred pounds of excess junk on the front.

Stock T-bars....

Were torn up and abused. Alot of people on the forum said they put the larger tbars in so I opted to do it right away.
