88 t4r grill clips...or better solution
Hello everyone,
I removed my grill and most of the little plastic clips broke.
I'm looking for a better solution that will hold the grill more firmly to the core support.
Or, a source for the clips so I can replace them.
Thank very much and as always...

So I found the clips on ebay and else where but,
What I really hoping you dudes can come up with is a better solution than those darn clips.
Thanks again!!

I bought OEM clips from ToyoMotorParts.com. They are removable with a flat screwdriver. I think they were about a dollar each and there's about 10 of them. Buy them with some other OEM goodies otherwise you'll double the cost because of shipping.

Two of the mounting points for the grill are held in with screws. Some day I would like to find the tabs that the screws go into and see if you could replace them with the clips. Just never got around to it. The factory clips work great once you learn the correct and gentle way of releasing them.

I absolutely F&#$(*G hate special and/or hidden fasteners and try to replace every one that I touch with nylon expansion nuts and screw that do not need special tools, nor require having to red the FSM just to find and undo the fasteners.
I replaced mine with nylon expansion nuts and #12 Screws (IIRC). Same size that holds many license plates.

Haha! Some people do not understand how I can spend a week doing something like head gaskets, calmly, but then a screw won't start, and I blow up and cuss a blue streak. I do agree with Terrys87, once I figured out how they work it's pretty easy.

Exactly what I was looking/hoping for.
That will stop the grill rattle and make removal a little easier!!
All hail...
EDIT: my local dealer wants $4 each for those clips.
