I definitely need an alignment. I’ll tackle the driveway alignment in a few days. Tires! 😃

No brackets there to screw into.

I'll miss this, you have to restore another 4Runner and create a new thread. Please!

Do you have these trims? They're made of plastic, painted in silver color, they go in the cabin and hard top gutters, attached with black silicone, 4 in total, 2 in evey side of the truck.

Thanks everyone! It was a blast, but unfortunately i don’t think i’ll do another one for a while. This one is a keeper and i’m out of garage space.

Next weekend I really ramp up my efforts on my 4th gen v8 King of the Hammers project - and this one takes the 4th gen’s place as my DD.

Love that trim - I haven’t seen it before. I’ll rarely run the hard top, but the front pieces look pretty cool. You have side marker lights too - yours just be a European spec? My 80 series had similar marker lights at the rear.

Radio is installed and all new speakers work great along with the amp and sub
. Tried to put a nice radio pocket below the head unit but it was a no go. Looks pretty good, but not quite perfect.

I think this is the reason you didn't keep the other 4Runners, the sunroof. Am I right?

Good everything's working perfectly.
My rear speakers don't work, I have to check them, good excuse to remove the interior panels and the hard top (to be more comfortable) for the first time in my 4Rs life. Topless weekend and Can-back during the week!

No luck on the map lights from my end either. I like the sunroof, but certainly not the main reason. This one had great potential and the engine was fully rebuilt. Yes, no issues with any of the speakers - I'm guessing either your wiring at the speakers or head unit is loose.

It's an European spec 4Runner, marker lights in the fenders.

I started to attempt a driveway alignment yesterday, but was simply too tired from last week’s push. So I paid the $89 and had it done. Results attached - like most things on old modified vehicles, it’s close to perfect but not quite perfect. The text said he did the best he could and the only value that isn’t perfect is Camber which fortunately won’t affect tire wear and where negative or 0 is better.

Ordered the 2 Chrome Rain Gutter pieces shown above along with 2 Chrome front wheel well moldings last night. Also had them throw in the 2 small tabs for the rear seat trim that I was missing.

All I'm missing now is a Carpeted Gray Divers Kick Plate - if anyone has a lead on one, let me know.

Where did you order those chrome parts from? New OEM? if so, how much are they?

I wish! @SomedayJ found the chrome rain gutter pieces on Ebay and PM'd me. I then asked about the 2 other things I needed and they has them as well. I hate to say it, but all the Chrome pieces (4) and the two small tabs were just over $200 shipped. Wish OEM new was a possibility, but these parts are becoming extinct and I've learned to grab them when they come available (rear bumper was the worst - and still missing the carpeted Drivers kick plate).

Hoping to install the new SoftTopper tomorrow when the 4Runner is back from getting a few final paint touch ups done.
