The graphics are for the 86 model year on North American models, but they look great on this rig. The white vehicle with blue stripes is the overseas model.

Update:
Everything with the 87 Turbo has been great the past few years. Just regular maintenance and it’s been a blast to drive! I think we had one minor coolant leak that we repaired and that’s literally it.

However, over past few months the steering had gotten looser and looser and finally I pulled the skid plate off, jacked it up, and found the problem. After 30+ years, the tie rod ends had finally worn out. So, I got brand new tie rod end assemblies from Toyota (new outers, adjustment sleeves, inners, and even hardware) and pulled out the OME Steering Stabilizer I hadn’t ever installed during the build and got to work.

Took a few hours and ruined a few tie rod end pullers, but it’s done. Steering is super tight again and the new OME steering stabilizer certainly seems to be more solid.

Hopefully it all lasts another 30+ years. 😃

Update: The truck is still doing great. I just finished restoring my 2nd 85 SR5 4Runner and needed new Map Light Bulbs for it. I searched my old Turbo Restoration thread to find that I never figured out what these were. So, I found another Yotatech thread that specified that the Map Light Bulbs are BA9. So I'm just going to grab a box off Amazon:

Amazon Amazon

Just wanted to add it to the thread in case it helps anyone searching for these in the future.
