86 pickup lift kit work on a 86 4runner ?

The kit contains everything needed to lift truck 2 1/2-3 inches. Upper control arms, steering link assembly, front diff mounts, bump stops, frame strengthen bracket, add a leafs, shocks, torsion bars, rancho stickers, plus all the hardware.
I spoke to RANCHO.com and they they DO NOT ensure that this kit will fit a 4Runner. They say that the chasis make up between the pickup and 4Runner is simular, but they cannot confirm or deny weather it will fit or not. The best they could offer was to try it and see. Was hoping someone might be able to offer some better insight

TIA

the suspension on the 86 4runner/pickup should be identical.
so, yes, it should fit.

Im new to Yotas, just picked up a 86 4runner with 270k kms and quite a bit of rust up here in Alberta Canada and I can see this forum being very helpful.

whoa, how much is that kit? you may want to do a little comparison shopping before you go with the Rancho. all 86-89 pickups and 4runners are the same underneath: IFS w/ t-bars front; leafs rear. read some install threads here, you may save yourself some loot. i've learned a boatload here!
