4xInnovatons Rear Bumper....Anyone Got One?

I've been drooling over this bumper for months and now its time to pull the trigger. I've only been able to find a few threads about people who actually have one. They love it.

But I'm wondering.......do I really need to wait ALMOST TWO MONTHS!!! That seems to be the only complaint.

Anyone have experience dealing with 4xInnovations? Specifically....how long did it take for the bumper to arrive?

Thanks!

Looks sweet though!

UPDATE!!!! This thing it pure beef! I got it in October and it was waiting in my basement for the install.

I used a 80 grit flap wheel on my angle grinder to get the surface rust off, then followed it up with POR15 Marine Degreaser and then Prep&Ready. Some clean metal primer then some Rustoleum Semi-Gloss Enamel and it is good to go!

If I was forced into suggesting an improvement the only thing I can think of is to make the bracket that inserts into the frame a bit longer. If it was 3-4" longer it could utilize a 3rd bolt on each side. Might make it beefier than two bolts per side. It would probably require taking the tailgate off for install though.

Don't mind the greasy handprints...

I'm stuck between this bumper and the trail-gear. On one hand the T.G. is ~$100 cheaper, but on the other the 4Xinnovations is actually rated for towing (I don't pull too much, but enough to make me leerly about the towing with the unrated T.G.)... decisions, decisions...

edit: truck looks killer, Brother!

I wish they had pictures of their tire carrier rear bumper. I've asked on their facebook and email numerous times and I get no response. lol

Hey man! I've got the trail gear rear and while it is cheaper, it is cheaper... Get it? A backed into a tree going a mile/hour and it bent it completely. Marlin crawler has the bars that connect from the side to the frame which is what trail gear needs. I'm not sure of the 4xI has those or not. I recommend the 4xI over trail gear. And with it being rated for towing, you can have a sense of ease when you're pulling a buddy out of the mud!

FYI... The 4xInnovations comes with the side brace tubes that Trail Gear has as an add-on welded in already. It weighs 110lbs and is super beefy. It will bend the frame before the bumper gets bent.

I can't speak for the bumper, but I bought sliders and doors from 4x. Honestly I'm disappointed in the quality of the work. Fitment is okay and the welds are down right crappy. I didn't send them back b/c they are stupid heavy and will do the job
