4wd issues 95 4runner

I recently bought a 95 4runner and have a question. When in 4wd H and on dry pavement such as pulling in my circular driveway the outside front wheel seems to bind up for lack of a better explination. Or if Im turning to the left the right wheel seems to not turn faster than the left as it should. Thanks in advance and I tried to search the site for any info on this prior

That means the tcase is working. You're binding up the drive lines. Stop that. lol

Lol that's normal just not advisable on pavement. Perfectly ok on loose/slippery surfaces ie, snow, ice, dirt, sand...etc

LOL Thanks I read somewhere that I should engage the 4wd on a somewhat regular basis to keep the system lubed and all. Do these auto hubs require any maintance. The vechicle sat for 2 years prior to me buying it.

Yup regular engagement is fine and like you said will keep the system lubricated. You can get a service manual and see about the auto hubs.

as BBP said, regular engagement is fine. I had a Toyota mechanic tell me years ago, to find a dirt road, and drive 'bout 5 miles or so with 4 H/L engaged, if I didn't take it off road all the time......

You have ADD, NOT auto hubs as they were no longer available in 1995. ADD has drive flanges. Big difference.

Your ADD system requires maintenance but not the drive flanges.

Lots of good info for your 95 here:
