no actually the wire on the egr valve itself was broken off right at the metal piece. The wire on the harness was still intact. I went to the junk yard today and was looking for pickups and 4runners but had no luck so I went to look at the yota cars. I saw that all the camrys had egr valves similar to the pickups/4runners, but I couldn't find any with a wire connected. I kept looking considering I had read that they didn't start using wires on the egr till late 94 or so. I finally came across a camry with the exact wire connected to its egr as the pickups. How lucky, only 8 bucks. I found 2 of the cars like this and pulled off both wires cuz it was like a gold mine. It was even hard to leave the other wire behind, but I did.
