3vze idle rpms...

Hey guys,

The idle on my 3.0 seems high to me. 1400 rpms on a cold start, drops to about 950 after a few minutes. Some days 1050 is where it drops too. Just seems a tad high. Can anyone compare those numbers to their own?

Anyway, sea foamed it, seems a little smoother, but that's it. Plugs are "recent" per PO, but I have new plugs and wires on the way as part of my engine rehab- I don't trust him (he had the engine ground "insulated" with duct tape... )

It's supposed to be adjusted to 800 ± 50 rpm, after the engine's warmed up sufficiently.

See page EG2-27 from the following pdf.
