3VZE Fix - Lessor of 2 evils

Looking for opinions based on experience. The 3.0 in my 4runner needs a valve job. #3 cylinder misfire, 110 psi compression, leak down shows burnt exhaust valve. I have a spare 3.0 which I pulled because of a bad rod knock but which otherwise was rebuilt top to bottom & has about 30k miles since. Which one is going to cost more to fix & which one is a faster fix.

IMO a valve job will always be easier than replacing a rod & trying to figure out if it caused any more damage....

pull the heads off the spare motor, and put them on the motor in your truck. less down time. a little more work
