haha you should just do it! do a 3" front and make the front hanger up higher and shorter shackles, low profile bump stops and run your 33"s . like Vance said when he sas'd, he could just point it somwhere and it would go right over it without lockers even :O will be so sick haha

glad to see your willing to learn and do your own wrenching even though your not that experianced, its a great thing to learn and there is nothing like doing your own work. Don't mind kawasaki his hour exhaust system probably consists of a dryer vent hose and some pvc. my compliments man, keep up the good work

lol Kawasaki is a RL friend of mine. Has been since i was like in 10th grade. I know he's just bustin my balls, so no biggie.

Heres a small update:

3 of the headbolts backed out yesterday! I had them replaced with factory head bolts but man, the exhaust leak was massive... Had to replace the gasket too as they were burned up. Valves are fine as well

ok so i tried to post a pic but it said it failed. but all it is is the copper tube going from the reed valve straight to the header

the copper tube is straight junk... but the only way to get it to work is unbolt the reed valve, put the reed valve on the copper tube, and call it good. the valve will be loose at this point, but it'll be functional still. the only way to get it to bolt to the block, is to get a flex hose like the EGR valve.

it wont hurt anything, I ran it like this for awhile. and it did fine. just be sure to find a hose. I used the one off my stock manifold. cut it off, and put it on.

ok so i took your advice about unhooking the reed valve so now its just hanging there it looks like it should be good so thanks for that. i have one more ? though, did you have any problem with the piece of exhaust pipe with the o2 sensor hole in it the flange to bolt on the o2 sensor is welded off center so that the nut will not screw on to the bolt , it might just be mine so im going to call and see if they will send me a new one. i hope they do

elk, i had the same probs your talking about. For the o2 sensor, i just ground down the side/corner of one nut so it would slide in far enough for the bolt to thread thru. Also works to hold the nut so you only need 1 wrench to tighten
