is it possible? and by possible i mean i plan on it being my daily driver so im not looking for a 6-12 month project just lloking to see if its an easy swap considering the trucks came with both motors from factory ( if im wrong about the engine code for the 4cyl im sorry ) just looking for general opinions i blew my motor the day after i bought it and cant find a 3vze for a decent price but have found many many 4cyl motors for under 500 bucks so any help you guys could give me i would appreciate

 

yes its possible, it wont just bolt right up though you will need different motor mounts and i think a different tranny

 

engine, mounts, trans, wiring, electronics
the cost and time involved would be more than simply replacing the 3vze
