Are you saying you already have sliders on? If so it's gonna look retarded. If you havent' put them on yet just weld em up higher that's what I did.

Any bar on the side of the truck at all and it almost comletely conceals the bl... I have a 3" on my truck and a Smittybilt 3" nerf bar.

It will look fine in my opinion....I have a 2inch BL and I think 4Runners look ALOT better than most other SUV's with BL's on them. (Like Blazers, etc..)

If I were you I wouldn't weld them super close to the body. Some time in the future you may want to lower or totally remove your body lift. Just something to think about as I am in this predicament right now. With the sliders I don't think anyone would even notice that you have a body lift.

i'd be i this predicament too if i wanted to remove my BL as i have .5-1" between my body and the sliders. looks like im not removing this BL anytime in the near future! fine by me, it gives me ZERO problems

Yep, just get the sliders built to mount 3" higher up to match the body lift:

I can make my sliders to handle anything from stock to 3" body lift:

Here is the 3" lift version:

I already have the BL and smittybuilt nerfs. Wanted a new look and more functionality. Yer all right, u can barely notice the lift with the sliders on.
