i have a 86 4runner with a newly rebuild 22re. about a week ago it just stopped turning on. it gets no power when i turn the key forward. so i had the battery checked and its fine.heres the strange thing, if i jump it the engine cranks right up no problems.is this a fuse problem,or some sort of wire connection? any ideas guys?

 

It may be the starter relay. Also check your battery and all ground/electrical connections for any signs of corrosion. You may have a rusty bolt that could cause the connection to be too weak to generate your cranking power.

 

i have replaced the ground wires, starter cable and started relay already.
