Oh I'm sure its a block problem, I just need to pinpoint it, I don't think it can be anything else, maybe the high compression is partly because of so much oil in the cylinders its acting like a wet compression test.

YES! lol. Well, I also wondered if the wrong rings were used/set up improperly, ...... where they don't allow any oil to wash down to the other rings? You'll find out by scoring, etc., when you take it apart this time.... didn't see any of that when you tore the head off last time?

Wow, ....well, then maybe some oil galley's are all plugged up, backing up pressure into the plenum, etc.? Or sure, even a small crack can be HELL to find and wind up dumping in where it doesn't belong... really sorry you had to deal with that so far... but glad you have such a good attitude!

OH, I HEAR YA on that one! I only went so 'showroom' with mine because I had time to kill while i waited for the first POS motor to get to me! lol. Now, since I've done my own motor.... I'm stoked that it's clean when I go in there! lol.

The alarm guy the other day said, "Oh WOW, it's so clean.... THANK GOD!" lol. I guess he has to deal with FILTHY installs all the time! lol. He had a tricked out CAMRY with 300HP, SC'd .... that thing was SPOTLESS inside and out! lol.

OK, so.........this thing purrs like a kitten, so smooth and quiet, the motor did have a different oil pan that wouldnt fit, so i had to swap oil pans, when i puklled the oil pan off the motor that i just put in, i found some chunks of the plastic timing guide in the bottom of it, i threw it in anyways and it runs great, but i know that ill will be buying anew timing set with steel guides from ENGNBLDR soon, now it just needs a little fine tuning, but it doesnt smoke AT ALL, THANK GOD! now i can put all my 3rd gen interior in...ill start a new thread for that and pics to come, thanks for all the help, i'll post results on the Problem motor whenever i get to it

WOW, you wont believe this, after only running this thing for a week, ive not a new problem.....it ran great all last week, now today i leave for work (running fine), and it was low on fuel, so i stopped and filled it up, after that this thing wont barely idle and it sounds like its missing really bad, WTF!! i pulled each spark plug wire one at a time and started the runner and i found that when i pulled #2 and #3 the truck ran better, weird, any ideas? and #1 and #4 off made it run worse as expected..... really not sure here but FML! The interior swap is one btw, have before pics just not after pics yet
