just bought an 89 4x4 22re extended cab. truck runs great but when the engine cools down it is hard to start. It takes like 5-8 seconds of turning the moter over for it to fire up, then it runs great. it starts fine when the engine is warm, but when it is shut off for about 20-30 minutes it gets hard to start. I also pulled codes 25,26 and 51. I know that the cat has been cut off and that may be the reason for the 25 and 26 codes. any ideas?

 

I also know that the engine was rebuilt 60k ago and the valves need to be adjusted, which is getting done monday. could this be the reason for the hard start?
