I have a 22re that starts right up cold drives fine sometimes farts a little theb when i start back up it cranks forever and i have to pump gas to get it going then last time its even harder to start even when cold ran it for 3 min and exhaust was red hot but engine wasnt abd had to keep it high rev to run

Its a 1987 truck 4x4 that sitch could cause all that?

I had a bad plug wire that wouls short when hot couldnt see it but could hear it. At highway speeds(i assume) the injector on the dead cyl still dumps gas and it would get burnt up at the cat and muffler mine got so bad both glowed red!!!! Taped the wire till i could buy wires problem dissapeared . Try it at night spsrk could be visible....

 

Ok i cut the cat off now so the exhaust isnt screwing with iti have a spaer efi set i was gonna start swapping sensors
