22r Fuel Issues

I have replaced my fuel filter and fuel pump and I still have no idea what the dealio is. I can get the truck started just fine it idles good but after drivin like 40 feet it just cuts out like its outta gas. When I look at the fuel level glass there isnt more than a drip of gas in there. Anyone have an idea what might be causin this. I have researched and havnt found anything like this.

is there a vacuum on the fuel tank when you remove the fuel cap when this happens ? had an old dirt bike do the same thing and it was the vented fuel cap not doing its job.

I think I may have gotten it. I took an air blower a blew out the lines just to rule that out and it immediately brought the gas into the sight glass.

On the carb. That fuel line window on the front of the carb right under the air cleaner

ok, if it happens again I would be looking at the float and/or float adjustment.
also, when it stalls again remove the fuel line at the carb and verify fuel pressure when cranking. (just at thought)

might wanna put a new line on it, I've seen that before as well where the inner part of the hose is broken and flapping around in there. Hard to tell from the outside. Always forget to mention that.

That could definitly be the problem. They are most likely the original lines from 87. So they could be be bad on the inside.
