1st Gen 4runner Rear seat

For the rear seat, is it a pin or bolts that hold the seats into the center bracket? My seats are not attached at all to the brackets in the middle and the seats rattle around and are not solid. I do not feal safe putting my kids car seats back there if it is like that. If they are bolts can you let me know what size i have to get? And if anyone has a pic of how it looks, that would be great.
Thanks!!!

it's a bolt on the front side of the seat .. that holds the bottom ..

you can see the holes in that pic .. bolt size 8mmX1.25X25 Grade 8+

there is a "hinge" on the front so they fold forward , and you can lay the backs down ..

ACtually it is the bracket for the top cushions, sorry. It connects to the bracket just right of those seat belts

This corner of the cushion. Both top cushions do not have any pics or bolts that connect it to the center bracket.

Here ya go.. I had to go out to my truck to get my camera anyway and had the rear seat folded halfway so it made it convenient to snap a few pics. Hope these help you out...

HHHMMMM looks like i maybe missing some pieces. Anyone know how many are there? I will have to find a set, the seats just kind of float there, and that isnt good or comforting with my kids back there

Yeah, looks like your hinge is different than mine... Mine's an 87 so I guess it changed. So I couldn't help.

yeah the way it looks, it seems like it should be a bolt or a pin. It is a plastic insert in the seat, not sure if a bolt threads into it.

All fixed now. Turns out the old pin fell into the seat. Still dont know how it originally was suppsoed to sit in the seat, but i ended up jsut taking a long pin and drilled a small hole in the middle for a cotter pin to slid and prevent the large pin from sliding back into either of the seats. So it works like normal now. Thanks for the help guys!!
