1994 Toyota pickup

Truck cranks runs fine for a couple miles plenty power but after warms up becomes sluggish and has no pick up. Checked timing its not steady it moves from 10-15° any ideas?

Remove the distributor cap and gently push the rotor side to side. A bad bearing in the distributor can cause wandering timing, so if you feel any side-play I would suspect the distributor.
