People can say what they want but my sending unit looked similar on my 88, it looked worse in the the tank as the main line was rusted threw not allowing the fuel pressure i needed. I repaired mine though. I removed my nasty line and drilled new holes and ran a piece of 5/16 brake line and curved it like in needed to be and braised it into the top of the sending unit, I put a new pump and fixed all the wires and its currently working like a dream, good luck. I priced the unit from toyota and that wasnt happenin I like to make things work my way, the cheap way.

You could still fix it. I had to swap out my front radiator support. Check my build out. It is possible to save it. Maybe even tube the front and make it a dedicated trail rig

I'd say ur pretty lucky to find a rust free truck around here. I'm pretty fond of those graphics too. My mom had an 88 4runner and my brother had an 88 pickup that both had those same graphics. And now u have a parts truck for this one lol. Have u checked to make sure the trans has oil?

Also the grab point on the clutch is way deep in the pedal, how do I adjust it so it grabs more toward on the release side?

Well if u drop the transfer case separate u should be able to handle them by urself but if u've got help, leaving them together would prolly be a lil faster just harder to handle. My bro swapped clutches in his back when he was in high school by himself in a few hours.

The rear d shaft up by the t case is super sloppy bearing and has oil flying out all around it after I filled the t case and took it for a spin.

Hmm maybe u should swap the tranny and transfer case. Is it the bearing in the back of the t case that sloppy or a u-joint on the driveshaft? Does ur truck have a 2 piece rear driveshaft? Just curious cuz mine does and the rubber bushing in the carrier bearing was completely gone so my driveshaft was flopping all over lol.
