1986 Mystery Wire

86 4x4 22r.... any idea what this wire does? Where it's supposed to go? About 8awg, looks important. Thanks!

looks like a ground wire, grounded to the block or a bracket on the block maybe 2" forward of the dipstick tube . Hope you can see it in the pic, looks like it will be fun to get at. ...plus a pic of my fender

I guess my text was black on a black background?? not sure how that happened! Jimkola from his youtube video it appears to be the ground wire in the alternator harness
