The 16k Run!

Took my cousin out for his first real taste of wheelin this weekend, he didn't do too bad for wheelin a vehicle he still owes $16,000 on.. Freakin' Nissan Xterra, but atleast he's wheelin right? He got some custom pinstriping from the bushes, and popped his rear tire up, and freaked out, but he made it though everything I did minus the mud pits he avoided, but its kansas, its flat, and I love me some mud. I think I'm gonna help him rig in a cb, ditch the nerf bars, get a small suspension or body lift, and some tow points.. Some frat boys were out there in a stock jeep were making fun of my truck and then about two hours later I came across them in the middle of a flooded field, saying they were stuck, I towed em out, and they're tranny was toasted, so I got the old tow rope out again and took 'em up the fire trail and to the staging area and basically said GTFO in a nice way. They had street tires!

I ended up soaking the crap out of my airfilter, I really need some gap gaurds so my engine bay stays cleaner! And a snorkel might not hurt either, I think I may be trading in my BFG's for a set of BOGGERS soon.. MMMM Boggers...

id tell your buddy to keep the nerf bars till he can aford some real armor... i mean, they are prolly flimsy, but still better than nothing...

I would think nerf bars are worse than nothing. The lower grown clearance and if they bend up they will dent the body.

Its just a precautionary measure. Yeah, people see it everyday on the road, so i guess if some one wants to write it down and then track you down they could, but at that point, it might just be easier to follow you. So, on the internet, most posted picture are of modified vehicles, so they are easy to identify as well as wanted. So people can just troll around for pictures, find a license plate, and then track you down and take your vehicle. I mean, i think the chances of that happening are slim, but thats the whole precautionary thing.
