I have a stock G52 and stock transfer case. I have a bad leak that has been slowly getting worse since i bought the truck about a year ago. I am not sure were it is coming from.

1st step would be to get some degreaser like Purple Power and clean the grease up with a brush/power washer/hose and drive it to see where its leaking from...

 

So what you're saying is you want us to magically diagnose your trans leak over the internet with zero information. I think there are some pretty good magicians over at Pirate4x4.com.

 

Sorry. I did leave some details out. From pics on the internet the leak is coming from between the tranny and transfer case. i figured that out. I am wondering if there are seals between the tranny and tranfers case on the output and input shaft and this area has it's own fill point. Or if it is just the externall seal that i need to replace, and this area fills from the tranny or transfer case.

 

Rule of thumb, whenever a shaft goes into or out of a transmission, there is a seal.

Those are not hard to replace, just a PITB to get to them to do it.
